"My goal is to simply be the best Realtor I can be and put the needs of my clients ahead of my own."
Here are my "secrets" to being he best Realtor
I can be:
Respond to any and all inquiries immediately. If I am unable to act immediately for a client, I inform that client and schedule a mutually acceptable appointment as soon as possible.
Listen carefully to my client’s needs and fulfill them. I do not presume to have the answer to what is best for my client.
Support each and every transaction from start, through all contingencies and inspections, and be present at all settlements if at all possible.

BIOGRAPHY
- Married to George for over 40 years, Mother to 4 children, Grandmommy to 5.
- “At home” Mother for 18 yrs. Volunteered in all aspects of children’s lives, in schools, and at church.
- In 1984, ran a nursery school, kindergarten, day care center for a good friend for 3-1/2 years.
- Became a Realtor in 1987 in the Lehigh Valley of PA. Active on Lehigh Valley Board of Realtors in many areas – primarily in Community Service and on Grievance & Professional Standards Committees which “police” Realtors. Member of the LVBR Board of Directors for several years.
- Sailed the Chesapeake Bay for over 20 years-cruising, gunkholing & racing for 14 of those years. Especially enjoyed the Eastern Shore and the people who were always so warm, friendly, and welcoming. Started sailing on Upper Bay – Sassafras River. Worked our way South. Liked the Choptank River. While putting “feelers” out for a place to retire to or a waterfront lot to build a home on, found our place in the Neck District. Needs were very specific – property had to be secluded, have 6’ water at end of dock for our sailboat, and home had to face East. In 1997, we found our property. Purchased the property on Hudson Creek and sold our home of 22yrs. in PA. Best move we ever made. Truly love our location and those we live among.
- Moved into our home in 1999 and became a Realtor with the MidShore Board of Realtors immediately. Worked in Easton for 2-1/2 yrs. and then “came home” to Dorchester County.
- Realtor of the Year 2005 for Mid-Shore Board
of Realtors
- Associate Broker, a member of MSBR, the National Association of Realtors, and the Maryland Association of Realtors. President of the MSBR 2003-2004. Current member of the Legislative and Executive Committees of the MSBR.
- Designations include CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate of the Realtors Institute). Being a CRS opens my world to thousands of fellow CRS designees and the ability to refer clients all over the country as well as being contacted regularly by fellow CRS designees to help their clients with Real Estate in my marketplace. My position on the Gold Team of Long & Foster Associates and current member of the Founders Club ($10-$20 Million in Sales Volume in one year) also facilitates outgoing referrals for my clients and incoming referrals here on the Eastern Shore. I attend as many Continuing Education classes as possible, in order to further develop my skills as a Realtor and be a better Realtor for my clients. Strong belief in working closely with fellow Realtors. In this way, they get to know me and I them and transactions are simplified by knowing who you are dealing with.
